If you have a pet, then it's very likely that you also have a pet door, so your furry companion can freely come in and out of your home. However, a pet door isn't usually secure, so tech company Pawport solved that problem with a smart pet door.
The smart pet door is designed to slide onto any existing pet door frame, via a groove. A screw in the bottom locks the Pawport into place and it is ready in a split second to turn the traditional pet door into a Wi-Fi-connected and functional pet door. Pet owners have access to open and close the door from their smartphone via the app.
It also includes a Bluetooth tracker collar that helps you keep track of when your pet walks through the door. In fact, when the smart door senses the tracker, it opens the door, so your pet can go outside with ease.
Pawport is made from solid steel and aluminum. The construction material makes the door durable and renders it weatherproof. In addition to fitting firmly and forming a weatherproof seal between your home and the outside, the Pawport helps save you on heating and cooling bills.
Based on our limited time with the Pawport Smart Pet Door, pet owners are going to get a lot of use out of it, as well as peace of mind that their homes are safe and secure.
The trio will conduct a series of experiments in fields such as life science, fluid physics, combustion science and materials science. Notably, this is the first time that fruit flies have been taken on a Chinese space mission as experimental subjects. What made scientists choose fruit flies? What experiment will they undergo?
